This past summer RIMOWA, the German luxury luggage-maker, celebrated the opening of their
tenth North American boutique with an intimate cocktail gathering in true Boston style. Guests enjoyed local fare, delicious cocktails and suitcase-shaped chocolates while they mingled with some of Boston’s local influencers. The Newbury Street boutique reflects the fresh, modern aesthetic inherent in RIMOWA products and suitcases.

Look Once, Look Twice, Jitrois Fashion Film

Jitrois’ designs are sensual, feminine and edgy, so it makes perfect sense that the brand called on longtime collaborator Rankin for their AW16 fashion film, juxtaposing strength and fragility.

The models in the film are suspended in mid-air—jumping, twirling and slowly coming back down to the ground—representing sculptures being brought to life.

Messika Paris: Noa Move Bangles

Fostering a femininity that is simultaneously elegant, rock ‘n’ roll and assertive, Valérie Messika, designer and founder of MESSIKA Paris, unveils a new facet of the Move collection with the Noa line. The Noa Move bangles are handmade in 18k gold with meticulously cut pavé set diamonds with three sliding diamonds that symbolize a love of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

The new SS16 Krizia Collection explores sci-marine depths in a potent vision of femininity with a contemporary twist. Silhouettes of sophisticated construction alternate and counterpoint natural and technological textures—volatile and reinforced, ared and pleated, opaque and shiny. An alchemy of culture and nature, reason and instinct and memory and research, the collection boasts unprecedented evolution for this historic brand.

Founded in 1976 during the Golden Age of Munich, MCM (Modern Creation München) was born out of a desire to be different, with an unparalleled ambition for perfection. The Milla is a truly timeless and utterly ladylike silhouette, made in richly textured pebbled leather with a multi-compartment interior.

This season, designer fine jewelry brand LAGOS introduces Black Caviar, its latest and most innovative collection to date. The collection features sculptural and smooth ceramic caviar beads adorned with radiant 18k gold and brilliant diamonds, making for a timeless yet modern collection. Black Caviar embodies the brand’s elevated vision of bold femininity in jewelry design.

Olivia Palermo in Dior Couture

Lupita Nyong’o in PRADA

Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, Karli Kloss + Doutzen in Atelier Versace

Haute Couture Fashion Week officially kicked off this week in Paris, and it has been an extremely stylish affair! Here is what caught our eye from some of our favorite backstage beauties, fashion bloggers and Hollywood Elite:

This week, Instagram taught us four things:
1.) Chiara Ferragni aka The Blonde Salad- never underestimate the power of the color white let alone a Armani pant suit
2.) Olivia Palermo- Andy Warhol’s flower prints combined with 1995’s Clueless equals one chic day time look for Dior Couture
3.) Lupita Nyong’o- when going out for a night on the town, dazzle under the stars in a sequined Prada gown
4.) Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, Karli Kloss + Doutzen- these lovely ladies know how to complete a dream-like sequence when being a part of the Atelier Versace show, with a selfie of course!

W and AG Jeans, along with Fashion Market Editor Caroline Grosso and singer-songwriter JiHae, hosted an exclusive dinner on July 16 to toast the Creative Class and JiHae’s new album, Illusion of You.

curated a group of 20 notable guests that represented the Creative Class—leading artists, innovators and entrepreneurs in fashion, film, music and art industries. The guests included Langley Fox Hemingway, Tali Lennox, Topaz Page-Green, Michael Dumler, and Danielle Bernstein among others who joined for the evening and went home with their very own denim.

#Obsessed With…
The Brave Collection

It is not often that we have the opportunity to experience the intimate details that make up the backstory of a certain product. What is truly remarkable about the beautiful pieces of jewelry featured by The Brave Collection is the process of making them. Cambodian artisans, who come from underprivileged backgrounds or have disabilities of some sort, dedicate their time and effort to carving and weaving these necklaces and bracelets by hand.

The result? Simple, yet beautiful and meaningful pieces you can wear on any occasion, from a trip to the beach to a nighttime outing in the city. Even better, 10% of the profits are donated towards the fight against human trafficking in Cambodia.

Look good while giving back!
